A new concept of scalable machine is born with the Antares 3.130. This machine is a platform that can accept specific equipment depending on knitwear products. The recognised strengths of Steiger as the take-down and the open carriage are optimized on the Antares 3.130. New features appear such the horizontally and vertically motorised yarn-guides, a controlled comb. Friendly and easy to use, the Antares 3.130 is part of an innovative concept that includes a new programming software: MODEL+. Intuitive, powerful and easy to access, it makes programming available to the greatest number of people.

Carriage – Cam box
Single head compact machine, without cam carriage bridge, with direct yarn feeding from the top. Three system cam boxes each with integrated bidirectional transfer
Needle bed
Working width 130 cm (51″). – Equipped with grooved retracted transfer needles. Fix front needlebed with integrated yarn clamps/scissors.

From E5 to E18/20, moreover the version Freegauge (7 – gauges 3.5 to 7, and 14 – gauges 7 to 14).
Jacquard shape
Electronic needle selection. Unlimited patterning possibilities due to Three-Way-Technique and integrated function for split-stitches. Shaping by stitch transfer of press-off method

Controlled electronically without limits with the possibility to modify at any time.
Yarn guides
Up to 32 horizontally and vertically motorized yarn-carriers with direct feeding, independent by the movement of the carriage. Yarn carriers are dropped off automatically at the edge of the design or the selvedge.
Take down
Programmable and active at 25 mm. from the loop formation. Take-down comb programmable.
Drive
By brushless motor, infinitely variable stroke. Programmable knitting speed from 0 – 1,60 m/s.
Security
All necessary devices stop the machine in case of yarn breakage, knots, shock, over-heating of motors, fabric press-off, etc.
Racking
Selective over 42 mm. with possibility of correction.
Programming
Software “Model+” on PC.
